Marshmallow “Tato” Marsh was named after two things she loved resting on as a kitten: a bag of marshmallows and a bag of potatoes. Seven years in, she is less active than she was in her younger days and spends most of her time sleeping with her siblings Snowflake, Nugglet, Bridgette, and Hazel.

Tato is an official Steam worker and close friends with Gabe Newell and Ryan Gosling. Her enormous fan group finally has a place to gather, share her legend, and respectfully admire the GOAT.

That is why this club exists: so every Tato fan has somewhere to flood into and see her.

The lore

From a little guy under a car to the face of a fan club. The whole story.

  1. 2020

    The world is blessed by Tato’s presence. Born in a shelter and sold in the same week, she starts her catnip era and immediately gathers a following.

  2. 2021

    Tato becomes a massive, world-famous cat with 273,729,363 fans and absolutely no idea what a privacy setting is.

  3. 2022

    The press tour begins. Tato interviews many people, mostly by staring at them until they reveal something.

  4. 2023

    Tato develops bladder stones, a disease that will impact her whole life. The club rallies around its most important member.

  5. 2024

    Tato becomes the world’s most famous cat. The numbers are no longer tracked because the counter gave up.

  6. 2025

    Her bladder stones and weight become severe. After surgery, Tato is cured of all diseases and returns to her rightful throne.

  7. 2026

    Healthier than ever, still extremely famous, and officially considered the GOAT by Gabe Newell.
